Hi. I have a single incoming email address. (helpdesk@mysite.com)
All tickets default to the helpdesk department, and it works fine.
I have created a filter that, if the email contains the word "Purchase", it is assigned to the Finance department. But, I want to be able to send a custom Ticket Opening confirmation for the filtered tickets.

Example:

  • Regular ticket receive a reply like this: "A support ticket #1234 has been opened"

  • Tickets with the word "purchase" receive a auto-response message like this: "Your purchase request #1234 is being analyzed by the finance team".


    Is this Possible?

You would have to use a filter to send a canned response. (the same time that you assign it to the finance department)
