Hello all. I've done some searching already for my issue but most users seem to be running a different setup than the one I have.
We have a Synology RS815 server, and we recently discovered it could install osTicket. I've been wanting to implement a ticket system at my job for a long time. After tailoring this to our needs, it works flawlessly and has been a huge help in how we solve issues here.
However, as it's still reletively new to us here, a user discovered the Cancel button does not work in the ticket form. I've researched this and seems to have been fixed in a few updates, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing it myself. Here's all the info I have on our system:
Synology Rackstation RS815
DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4
Server Information
osTicket Version v1.10.1 (9ae093d) — v1.10.7 is available
Web Server Software Apache/2.2.34 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/mod_fastcgi-SNAP-0910052141
MySQL Version 10.3.11
PHP Version 5.6.40
We also have MariaDB with PHPMyAdmin installed, and I see the main DB we created when we installed osTicket. My understanding is that I have to update the osTicket package, but last time we have tried this we also had to update PHP, and that combination broke the entire osTicket system and our other systems (GLPI). This would also mean that we cannot update osTicket (I see 1.10.x is end of life).
If anyone can assist me in this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
