Unable to use Office365 SMTP

Hi,
I just installed the latest version of osTicket and everything went well. I'm just having troubles with configuring the SMTP server to send mails. IMAP is working.
I'm trying to use smtp.office365.com:587 but this error returns: Failed to connect to smtp.office365.com:587 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection refused (code: -1, response: )]

Any idea on how I can solve this? Thanks!

Version of osTicket?

We use Office365 for our live sites and it works fine, so perhaps the issue you have is a local firewall, local security mod, or the your settings that you are using.

Thanks for your answer. I will attach a screenshot for more details on my installation. I already contacted the hosting company which confirmed there is no block on port 587 or to the Office 365 SMTP server.

Your settings are identical to mine, so then that just leaves your environment.

A connection refused usually indicates a port being blocked.
Perhaps Apache mod_security, SELinux, or a firewall on your webserver.
