[resolved] Upgrade to 1.12.3 not working.

I'm trying to upgrade from 1.12 to 1.12.3.
My server information:
osTicket Version: 1.12-git (bcf1a5f)
Web Server Software: Apache/2.4.41 (Ubuntu)
MySQL Version: 5.7.27
PHP Version: 5.6.40-12+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1
--So I follow the instructions on osTicket website. Move all files from upload to the installation folder with overwrite enabled.
--Restart apache2
--Login with my account which is an admin account
--Nothing auto launches when I go to the admin panel
--I can manually go to upgrade.php but at the top it says "Nothing to do! System already upgraded to 1.12-git with no pending patches to apply"

There is no database schema changes in 1.12.3 when going from 1.12.2. So the upgrader will not run. Also you would want to download the archive from osticket.com/download and not github so that your version numbers display correctly.

So how do I upgrade it? I have tried everything in your installation instructions and nothing is working. Please provide insight into how I get to 1.12.3. I know I am on 1.12.

Wizidge As ntozier said, there are no database changes from 1.12 to 1.12.3, so simply uploading the files downloaded from the osTicket website is enough. There are no additional upgrade steps to be run. You can confirm the new version by going to Admin -> Dashboard -> Information where you should now see it listed as 1.12.3

EDIT: note that the download was updated recently due to the version incorrectly displaying as 1.12-git. If you're using one you downloaded a few days ago, try downloading again. See https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues/5084 for details

I have already investigated that git pull and it did nothing. No matter what I do it always displays 1.12-git. I will try to redownload it and try again. If that doesn't work can I do a fresh install and migrate to it?

Wizidge I just downloaded the .zip file a few hours ago, and have 1.12.3 displayed on my system, so hopefully it should resolve it for you too!
