Among the many options for agent avatar source, there should also be one for manually uploading a file. My company has an Office 365 infrastructure, and we're using the Office 365 OpenID Connect plugin to manage logins. I know the possibility of automatically syncing profile pics is not possible right now — that would require a pretty comprehensive plugin which uses Microsoft's Graph API — but a workable solution would be for us to manually upload our own profile pic. Is this feature something that could be considered for a future release? Thanks.
Allow uploading an avatar for agents
You would want to open a issue report at github and pre-pend the subject with [Feature Request].

We had a similar desire - custom avatars for each agent. We did not want to use photos - some avatars in tickets are 48x48 and some are 20x20, so kinda small for photos. Our solution was to use Built-in/Oscar's A-Team avatar source and edit avatar-sprite-ateam.png. There are probably more graceful solutions, but this worked and was pretty quick and easy to implement. Note that we have 10 or fewer agents, and the public does not have ability to register self (though you could have User Avatar and Agent Avatar set to different sources).
