Greetings friend, I would like to please help me to try to solve the fault when trying to configure the LDAP. My Osticket is:

I'm guessing that your version of PHP is not sufficient to run osTicket.
What is the actual version that you are running?

Are you using the Authentication::LDAP plugin from osticket.com/download?

Yes, I am using the LDAP Authentication and Lookup and HTTP Passthru Authentication plugin.

Are you trying to install the plugin manually via the command line? The warning "Do not run Composer as root / super user!" really shouldn't appear in any logs, unless your entire web server is running as root (which is even worse!)

Ideally the plugin should just be installed by copying it into the include/plugins folder and going into the admin panel - I assume you have the phar extension installed and enabled in PHP too?

Does that exist? No it doesn't. Hmm.

The plugin should be looking for the file in its folder structure (ie its relative path)
\include\plugins\auth-ldap\include\Net\LDAP2.php

I have no idea why your instance is looking for this in /var/www/html/include/

I'm using v1.12.2, PHP 5.6, and MariaDB and I had 0 issues installing, configuring, and using the LDAP authentication plugin. No errors, no warning, etc.

Downloaded the plugin from https://osticket.com/download, moved the plugin to my server, moved it to the plugins directory, went to UI, installed the plugin, configured the Plugin, Enabled the Plugin, and was able to use the plugin without any issue.

You do not need to hydrate, or do anything at all with the .phar file. The only thing you have to do is move it to the include/plugins/ folder and go to osTicket UI to install it.

Could you please show me what it contains or what the include/plugins folder should contain, to compare what I have. And so discard possible failures. Thank you

Delete the plugin.
re-download the plugin from osticket.com/download/#plugins.
Put plugin at: osticket installation/include/plugins
the auth-ldap.phar should be in that folder.

rsereno Have you manually extracted the .phar file?? 🤔 It should just be literally the .phar file(s) and nothing else (well, except for updates.pem) in that folder.
