We have a specific email address that feeds help requests into osT. A help topic is automatically assigned at that time.

However, I would like to make that help topic "private" so that my customers cannot select it when they create new tickets via the portal.

If I make the help topic private, can I still automatically assign it for tickets coming into that email address?

I've never tried. Maybe setup another email address... create a help topic for it and make it private. Then send a test email and find out.
