authentication failure

Hi Guys, does anyone know why im getting this error

authentication failure [SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: 535, response: Incorrect authentication data)]

I am getting an authentication failure even ,I am using correct username and password ,I don't know why i am getting this type issue ,can anybody help me what should i do ?

Please upgrade to osTicket 1.12.x immediately. 1.11 is no longer supported.

The error says "Incorrect authentication data" I would take that to mean that the username/password is incorrect.

I have update the osticket . I am using hostname as domain hostname instead of gmail ,and I am using correct username and password.

is there any other solution ?

So are you using gmail or not?

If yes did you enable POP for the account?
Does the account actually have POP enabled for it?

I meant to says I am using mail.pmiopen.lt as host name

Is that a valid pop host?
Is the account configured to allow POP from that host?
Can you review the mail logs for that server?
