I'm trying to schedule a cron job to mail fetch but I'm unsuccessful. I followed the guide: https://docs.osticket.com/en/latest/Getting%20Started/POP3-IMAP%20Settings.html
I am new to Linux so with every step, I have to google-fu my way. Following the steps indicated here to create a cron job (https://vitux.com/how-to-schedule-tasks-on-ubuntu-using-crontab/), I entered and saved this line in my crontab file:
/5 * root /usr/bin/php7.2 /usr/sbin/cron.php
However, email fetch is unsuccessful. Ticket owner's email responses are not being added to the thread. I'm not sure where to go now to troubleshoot. Few questions I have are:
1. How do I verify that my PHP and Cron.php path is correct?
2. How do I know if the cron job ran?
3. Is there a way to manually run the cron job?
Thank you.
PS. This is my first post in the forum. My apologies if I violated any rules.
