Is there any way to go around solving this issue or this could be a feature request

I need to have issue summary as part of the exportable CSV fields.

Issue Summary does get exported by default... it's called Subject. Because on Emails it is the Subject.

Yes, issue summary gets exported by default.

I actually meant "Issue Details", which doesn't get exported by default

Currently you cannot do that using the UI. You would have to edit the core files to get that to happen.

I'm not sure how involved it is, but you would have to take some things into consideration. You would need to look at each "issue detail" and sanitize it.

examples:

All comma's would have to be removed or encoded) or it would break the csv.
What would you do with inline HTML?
What do to with inline images?

I think that it would get real messy real fast.

About the sanitization, there is nothing to be worried about. There are expected replies, devoid of images, attachment. They are solely predictable text.

Please, i'd be glad if you have any idea of how to edit the core files. Tried my best class.queue.php, upto no avail.
