I recently upgraded our System to v 1.11 an I just came across the referrals feature which looks promising. However, it seems there's no way to see which tickets are referred to you. So, I wanted to create a queue for our agents that shows all the tickets referred to them but there is no referrer field either.

Am I just missing a setting or something or is the feature actually missing in osTicket.

Yes I did. The docs explain how to refer a ticket to an agent and I can do that, but doesn't mention where that agent can see which tickets are referred to them. As far as I can see (and from what I tried), the only way to know which tickets are referred to you is, if you getting told outside the ticket system. It's not even visually displayed in the ticket itself. An entry mentioning the referral appears in the ticket timeline, but you cant't see it in the ticket details shown at the top. So unless you scroll through the entire Ticket, you'll never now if it was referred to someone.

But maybe I'm just missing an option I have to set first to make this visible. Otherwise this nice feature feels a bit incomplete since the agents have to manually keep track in which tickets they're listed as a referral.

I would presume that they would show up under 'My Tickets'

That's what I thought too but unfortunately no. Perhaps I should suggest something like that on osTicket's github,

Well if its not in My Tickets then I imagine that it would be in the Open Queue.

have you checked the permission?
agents who have access to the referred department will be able see the ticket

@mihaly

The referred tickets will appear in the referred Agent's Open queue.

Cheers.
