Require topic on Close

Hi, i have found that you can enable require topic on close in v1.11 but after installing it doesnt show. is there anything else i would need to do or should it just show?

v1.11 is not out yet, soon it will be released. Current stable ver. 1.10.4 you must be using osTicket Core, v1.11.0-rc1 (Release Candidate), which is not recommended to use in a production environment

only installed in test environment, even still how come the feature doensnt show or will it when the stable one is released

not sure maybe it has a bug, you can report it at https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/issues

or it could be some settings, PHP version not supported, etc.., I am sure it would be fixed before the stable release

enable require topic on close

I'm not sure what you are talking about here.

You can add a field to the Ticket Details form and require that it be populated before a ticket is closed. I am not aware of a way to require a help topic for closure though.
