we are running osticket 1.10 on a apache2.4.18 on ubuntu with mysql 5.7.21 and php 7.0.25.
We use IMAP/POP mail fetching

The software is running very good and the tickets are created automatically if a mail is received. If we create tickets and user send an answer by mail, this mail is automatically imported to the correct ticket (if the ticket number is in the subject).

Is this behavior also possible on tasks? If i add some recipients to my task and they send an answer by mail, the mail is not imported to the correct task (altough the task number is in the subject). OsTicket create a new ticket.

It would be great if someone can help me.

I honestly do not use tasks so I do not know. I have seen several posts where people say that emailing a response to a task results in another task. It was my understanding that responding to any email from osTicket (ticket or task) would update the appropriate thread. Maybe try it with out collaborators on the task? Maybe it is the Collaborator response that is broken.
