Attachment Plugin Config on Synology

Does anybody have any experience of how to configure the file path for the Attachment plugin on an osTicket Synology installation. Can't seem to make the underlying file system visible to the app. Have tried adding various paths to open_basedir config but no success.

This sounds like an excellent question for Synology support. I would tell them that you are trying to create a folder in the file system for use by the webserver to store attachments. Once they help you create that folder then you can ask them for the absolute file path for the folder and stick it into the plugin.

I'm inclined to agree with you but Synology support don't see it that way. The mistake I made was to mention osTicket as this allows them to play the "we don't support 3rd party apps, speak to the developer". Trust me, there's no point in trying to argue the point!

I'm hoping that someone on the forum has got the same setup. I've also posted on the Synology forum. The problem is not creating the folder, it's making it visible/accessible to the Webserver ergo osTicket/php
