I have fixed ip in my company , i want to open port to my OSticket server in Synology-NAS. I want to check what is the PORT I want to point.Example at outside , I can use xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to access my osticket system..I dunno how to check the port for my osticket.system. I want to set port forwarding in my firewall. Please advise.
it should be normal ports80 for HTTP443 for HTTPS
You would need to check your webserver software for that port it is using. Usually it would be 80 for http, and 443 for https.As far as your example though, unless it has a real world IP address you would not be able to access it from outside your network unless you setup IP forwarding, NAT, whatever.
