When building custom forms, I have contact information built a different way. However, regardless if you're using a custom form or not you still get the default "ContactInfo" etc. form at the top.Is there a way to remove that and just have the custom form you built?Like so,blank

You could remove phone number, but you cannot remove email and name.

How would I go about removing the phone number portion at least?I would have no problem doing some manual editing of the code if it were not extremely complex.Do you know what file it is that stores the ticket creation page?

Admin panel -> Manage -> Forms -> Contact Informationremove phone number

I'm assuming if I deleted the "Contact Information" form, it'd break the system?Would it break the system if I switched the email Address and Full Name from "Required" in visibility to "Optional"?So there's no way to just not display the Contact Information; and just have a user select a form from "Help Topic"?

Q: I'm assuming if I deleted the "Contact Information" form, it'd break the system?A: I have never tried, but I would bet the answer is yes.Q: Would it break the system if I switched the email Address and Full Name from "Required" in visibility to "Optional"?A: It is my understanding it would break things.Q: So there's no way to just not display the Contact Information; and just have a user select a form from "Help Topic"?A: Correct.  All tickets are associate with an email address of its owner (the person that its opened for).If your going to want to open all tickets as a specific user you could probably pre-populate the field and mark it as hidden though in the form. I remember someone else posting about that at one point.  I do not recall how hard it was to do though.  It would involve editing the core files though.

Thank you sir! I will take a look at that. I suppose you could close the ticket; or if you keep it open and I resolve my own questions I'll post it here.

I'll leave it open until I hear back. :)
