Hello.I'm working on a 1.9.12 installation (hosted Linux/cpanel/Apache/MySQL) and prepping for upgrading. I have a few questions:Should I go to 1.9.15 and then to 1.10.x, or should I upgrade directly to 1.10.x?I want to back up my DB and attachments and filesytem. I think my attachments are stored in the database, but a SQL dump seemed too small to contain attachments. How can I verify where attachments are being saved?I did set my PHP to be 5.6.30 from my hosting provider in preparation for this upgrade, so that's one thing taken care of for certain. Are there any other notable system requirements?I have zero plugins configured, but is there any good way to see what files I have modified by hand from vanilla install? My understanding is these mods will be wiped out by the upgrade process. Are plugins normally preserved across an upgrade? Thanks for any insight.

1. You can if you want to, but you shouldn't have to.  I went from 1.9.7 to 1.10 to 1.10.1.2. Admin panel -> Settings -> SystemSee Attachments Storage and Settings.Store Attachments: whats this set to?3. There are a slew of PHP extensions (Admin panel -> Dashboard -> Information)4. you can download the version that matches what you are running now and then run diff (since your under linux)

Thanks for the information! Not there for my installation. I see under Settings | Tickets | Attachments  a file size limit of 64MB. I did some more digging and I found files in ost_file_chunk, so there's the answer.I think these are all okay, they're from the hosting provider, but I'll double check version numbers.Whoops, I forgot about diff. (I've been working with a WordPress installation on a different project and it has a self-check feature.) Thanks!

Very welcome.Should I mark this as resolved and close it?  Or do you have some more questions for me regarding this topic?

Feel free to resolve and close- if I have further questions, I'll make a new topic. Thanks again!
