I feel that there is a need for OSTicket Community to have a Survey or Poll type feature on the website where new additions people suggest on the forum are shown. It should be publicly visible so that everyone can vote for what feature they'd like to see most in the new editions. I feel this would help provide more rich statistics on add-on features in future realeases.

If the devs wanted a layer of transparency and wanted users to dictate the direction of the project... then yes I would agree with you.  However I do not think that this is the case.  I do however compile and maintain a list of feature requests made here that the Devs have access to.  I also try to update it with "how many people" think something is a good idea.
