I'm trying to install OST on a linux machine, v1.7-RC4 and i'm getting Write access required to continue
chmod 0666 include/ost-config.php
i've done that and even given 777 permissions and still gives me the same prompt
any ideas?

I have the same problem...
Which flavor of Linux?
Have you checked your PHP logs to see if anything is getting logged?
fedora
I haven't checked the php logs... i checked apache logs but that might be the wrong place. I tried to open php-fpm under logs but it wouldn't give me access. Is that the correct location? /var/log/php-fpm?
