Home page editing

Hi AllJust a quick issue as far as everything else goes i'm very impressed.I'm using OSTicket as a client Report system where Clients will get reports sent to them in there return tickets.I think this would work nicely for me, but i do need to edit the some of the wording on the home page.Does anyone know which file and which directory i could find the text shown, and be able to edit it, also the text on the Menu barThanks againGerry

Hi Gerry,

I don't see an attachment/image (but could be since I'm accessing from my phone currently), but to edit the menu bar just look at the index.php in the root directory of osTicket installation.

Hi ChefeksI tried to upload an image but it wouldn't let me. I've managed to edit the Index.php in the root directory but i still cant edit the Menu buttons? Im guessing that could be part of the header? but im not sure i've looked for the past 2 hours and still havn't found where i can edit the menu Bar ??to think something like this would be pretty easy lol

Ok, before looking for another two hours, I suggest to use a nice search tool like "grep" when osTicket runs on a linux server or "AstroGrep" when under Windows. If you are hosting not on your own server, you could search the strings you want to replace on github https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8

using the search on top of the page ;)
