i have installed osTicket 1.9.8.1 on xampp running 2008r2. AD has to authorized domain emailsdomain.org (old)domain2.org (new)    new company namei have installed the add-on for LDAP connectivity, from github. it appears to be working in that the initial user i setup i can login with either the initial credentials or the domain password... However when i try to add a user it wont pull up any suggested users from what i expect will be querying AD... So i have to continue to add users manually when i enter the users email address such as user@domain2.org i get an error telling me its an invalid email. If i change the email to user@domain.org it accepts it and then i can log in normally with that users domain credentials.  Any pointers as to why this is happening is greatly appreciated

"i have installed the add-on for LDAP connectivity, from github."You should download from osticket.com/downloadHave you set a search user in the plugin?  Whats the users email address in AD?

here is the search patternCN=sAMAccountName,DC=internalDomain,DC=localthe primary email is domain2.org

What happens when you remove the CN portion?

it doesn't change anything.. however when going to Admin Panel >> Setting >> Emails Setting and uncheck Verify Email Address Domain  it allows you to put any email address domain name, wrong or otherwise...I can add a user and chose the backend option to use AD and it works fine, allows the user to login with their domain creds... just wont lookup when adding a user

I've asked the devs to take a look at this thread.

This may just be the way the plugin is designed to work.If I'm reading this correctly, In the plugin settings, your Default Domain: is set to 'domain.org'?Some of your users have  email addresses @ 'domain2.org', and those don't work.Have you tried any of the users who's emails are  @ domain.org?I have a similar situation--my Default Domain is 1stDomain.com. All of my users can use either 1stDomain.com or 2ndDomain.com as their email address.  However, if they are logging into (or being assigned a ticket in) osTicket, only 1stDomain.com is recognized. The user lookup seems to only look in whatever domain is in the "Default Domain" setting.

ok, i set the default domain to domain2.org and it allows the end user to now create a ticket without kicking it back as not a valid email... however when logging in the domain credentials it give an error Access Denied.from the agent portal it i try to respond to a ticket opened by the user with the domain2, it gives me the following warningEndUser email address is not valid! Consider updating it before responding
