Taking over system v1.6 - no idea what the database UID & PW are

Just took over an existing osTicket system, that has been running for several years. I was looking into upgrading to the latest version, but have no idea what the name of the databases are, or the PW to get into them. Does anyone know if there is a way to get into them to back the data up, so that I can import the data to a new install or update the current version?

1.6ST? or one of the RCs?My memory says look for:/settings.phpor /scp/settings.phpI don't think that it was changed to ost-config.php until 1.6STIt would either be in the / or in /include.Currently its /include/ostconfig.php
