Hi All,  Just upgraded to 1.8 from 1.7x and looking to restore a couple of things that we wanted to keep from the 1.7 version. I'm guessing they were removed in 1.8, so asking in the mod section how to modify 1.8 to get them back.First is marking a ticket as answered without actually answering it. In the past we could do this by picking Mark as Answered from the Ticket Status dropdown while writing an internal note.In 1.8, I have been able to add Answered as a Ticket Status but it doesn't change the  of the ticket. I see there's a  flag in the ticket table that gets marked with 1 when a ticket is answered. Seems like the simple solution to this would be to add this flag when the  status is selected. I've looked around in the code, but with my nearly non-existent php skills, I haven't been able to find where to change this.Second function I'm looking for is the Claim button. In 1.7 I have Print|Claim|Edit|Close buttons on the top of open tickets. I do like the additional options in the same space on 1.8, however I'm missing the Claim/Self-Assign function. I haven't dug into the code to even attempt this one yet, was hoping that perhaps someone out there has done this already.Thanks in advance for the help.

Update - The Admin panel shows version as "1.8-git" however now that I checked, this is version 1.9.5.1 according to the tar.gz I downloaded. 

You should probably download the archive from osticket.com and use that instead.The devs would disable downloading the package from github if that was an option.

Regarding your questions:

Claim is still there in 1.9.5.1 as long as no other agent is assigned to the ticket.

Mark as answered is also still there, but limited. Only the department manager can currently do this. But this will hopefully change with the upcoming role based access feature in the future versions of osTicket (no ETA).
