I read that you can add a custom field into the Advanced Search using the Custom Forms. How is it done? I can't find the form Advanced Search to change it.Cheers

What version are you using? You would add the field to Admin panel -> manage -> forms -> ticket details.
1.9.4I added there but the advanced search is still the same
I added fields to where I told you and they were automatically added to the advanced search box.hmmm. Apparently it doesn't work with text boxes. Lists add it just fine. Not sure if thats intentional or a bug, but its probably intentional.
I see... Maybe this should be added as a bug or feature request then?
The devs are currently working at the (advanced) search, so I guess this should be possible in some of the next releases of osTicket and would wait with a bug report / feature request until they are thru with new (advanced) search.

Yes even I think that it should be possible in some of the next releases of osTicket, I am newbie here and waiting here for new updates.MODERATOR EDIT by @[deleted]:Removed the second sentence regarding essay writing service since it's obviously not related to osTicket.@[deleted]:Please keep the focus on osTicket and don't advertise any essay writing services etc. here in the forum. Thank you.
A quick update regarding the topic:In the meantime the pull request with the advanced search was merged and so this should be included in the next release of osTicket. View the merged pull request here: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/pull/1528
Great! Thx
