Hello ntozier,

Thanks for giving important information for setting up my ticket, I want to edit the footer of my osticket so that I am being able to insert my own sites link in the footer portion.

After attaching my email like: tickets@mysite.com, is it possible that all the tickets submitted by my users goes to this email inbox where I can easily see the contents and all of the informations included by my users.

How can I do it, Please give me the direction so that  can do it successfully.

Thanks

Editing the footer (such as to add your own links) requires you to edit the footer.  Aka edit the file, as you cannot achieve this via the ui.  include\client\footer.inc.php  This of course means that you will need to make this change any time that you upgrade your code base.I have no idea what you are asking about email... If your users are sending emails to your email, why wouldn't they go to your email address. /boggle.

Hello ntozier,

Thanks for support and giving the direction to me for setting-up my osticket. I can follow the steps provided by you:

Re: no. of fields add/removeAdmin panel -> Manage -> FormsYou can also assign custom forms to organizations and help topics. But after creating custom fields, it's only shows the default fields: Email Address, Full Name and Phone Number only.

I want to add some more fields at here like place, state etc and making it necessary to fill when anyone want to open a new ticket.

For Email attach: If my users, wants to open a new ticket and after specifying the Help Topics,  Filling-up their custom information, Ticket details and finally clicked on "Create Ticket" then where this newly opened Tickets details goes i.e. in my attached Email ID or at any other place?

Please tell me that where my users newly created tickets goes and how can I access it.

Thanks

Q: But after creating custom fields, it's only shows the default fields: Email Address, Full Name and Phone Number only.A: Then you didn't add the form to a help topic or to the Ticket Details built in form.Q: If my users, wants to open a new ticket and after specifying the Help

Topics,  Filling-up their custom information, Ticket details and finally

clicked on "Create Ticket" then where this newly opened Tickets details

goes i.e. in my attached Email ID or at any other place?A: I have no idea what you mean.  The ticket details go into the new ticket that they just created.Q: Please tell me that where my users newly created tickets goes and how can I access it.A: They go into the default department that you configured at Admin panel -> Settings -> Default Department.  The caveat here is that you could have over ridden this with your selected help topics, ticket filters, etc.You should probably make sure that your user account has access to the departments where you are assigning the tickets at: Admin panel -> Agents -> Departments and Admin panel -> Agents -> your account
