Because the developers did not yet implement that feature ;)

may i know..what mean by created new ticket via an email?

@[deleted] this thread is from 2014, if you have a question please start your own thread.He means:Send an email to a specific email addresss (which osTicket is configured to get email from), run cron, osTicket picks up the email and makes it into a ticket.Closing ancient thread.
