I can not retrieve emails to create tickets, I can however send emails through osTicket. Our exchange server is not set up with IMAP or POP. What are my options to get email up and running.
You would have to install/enable IMAP or POP on your Exchange server.Or you would have to forward email from Exchange for one user to a server that does POP/IMAP or Piping. (note: I'm not sure that this would be as seamless as you would want it to be)
now if i set up another mail server wouldn't that interfere with my exchange server? also exchange and osTicket are on different servers.Thanks for your help!
If done right, I don't see why it would interfere with your existing mail server.It would probably be much much easier to just enable pop/imap in exchange though.
