Hello,I upgrader from v1.9.1 to v1.9.2 and I tested the alerts & notices.I checked the boxes "Department manager" for "New Message alert" and for "New Internal note alert".The Department manager well receive the "New internal note" notification in my mailbox, but he do not receive the "New message alert".I tracked in my exchange server the mail sent to the Departement Manager and I saw that he received the mail of the "New internal note", but he never received the mail about the "New message".Could you check that and let me know if it is my configuration or if it is a bug.Thanks in advance,blankAlex

Hello again,I tested it also on my sandbox system and the Department manager did not receive mail notification in case of new message on a ticket.I will open a bug report on GitHub.Edit: F.. It looks like there is no repository on GitHub for 1.9.x...

On github 1.9.x is in the osTicket 1.8 repo under the develop-next branch

Yop,I tested it also in 1.9.1 and there is the same problem.I found in class.ticket.php the at line 1640 the function called to fill in the recipients array, but it looks like that the function "alertDeptManagerONNewMessage()" is not working properly.I am wondering if this features worked before v1.9

Hello,I continue my research and I think that I found where is the problem, but I am not able to solve it.Can someone have a look on this part of the code and tell me if something is wrong or not?The yellow part is working, the last respondent well received the new message notification.The red part is not working, the department manager never receive the new message notification.I do not know if there is a problem in this part of code, maybe the function "alertDeptManagerONNewMessage()" is bad or maybe the recipients array is not built correctly.I need help. :)http://i.imgur.com/SLKHK8N.pngblank

Are the agents different people or have different email addresses? In other words, is the manager also the last respondent?

Yop thanks for your answer.No the manager practically never reply. He just have an account to be alerted of new ticket and overdue.Did you try on 1.9? Is-it working on your side?
