I've installed osTicket 1.8.1.2 and all is ok, but after few tests i noticed that osTicket doesn't send email at all. I'm using the same configuration used for another installation (done on another hosting) that works perfectly: with that installation email are sent correctly. For this new installation we are having these problems.I've done the Diagnostic too and it says that emails was sent ... but we never received it.Is it possible some problems with server hosting configuration?
there are many reasons for this to happened. Without more details it is very hard to pinpoint the issue.based on your information, I assume it is Linux based installation on 3rd party hosting, using that host's provider email system?
i actualy had the same problem on a new server now. but i changed it to use smtp instead of phpmail. then it works. so that can be a tips to get it to send mail.
