HiI am very new to OS Ticket, only installed it a few days ago, i have managed to find my way around and configure pretty much everything i need to for us, the one thing that is driving me totally mad, is i cannot seem to see where to edit the default system signatures email, all staff members are fine, i have set those correctly, but i am talking about the signature thats goes out on the default system email to the client when they start a new ticket. i am using the latest 1.8.1.2 of OS Ticket.currently the signature that goes out is this:

Admin panel -> Emails -> Templates -> osTicket Default Template (HTML)

ah wait, i need to edit it in the body of the message, i was looking for a separate signature box like the users, ill have a play around.

ok, ive sorted it, is there anyway to make the department signature default on all tickets created by a staff member in his staff panel for a client without him having choose it below? (default is none)

There is no over-arching way to do that.  But each staff can go their preferences and select their signature at:staff panel -> my preferences -> Default Signature:Each department can also have their own signature, but it would need to be selected in the same way.  That can be set at: Admin panel -> Staff -> Department -> each department -> Department Signature:
