I'm not aware of any guide, but then I do not think that any guide is really needed other than the Wiki.http://osticket.com/wiki/Email_Piping
yes, i saw the wiki but there is only instructions for linux mail server
So then what you meant to ask for is directions on how to setup Microsoft Exchange?
yes, in exchange 2007 / iis 7
There is no guide for that. I haven't tried to get that to work. It was easier and faster for us to run IMAP and cron.php (via Windows Task Scheduler). I'm not aware of any way for Microsoft to pip to a url... but I am far from a Microsoft expert. I do have a few google results threads that I found that indicate that I am correct though. Such as: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15618034/e-mail-piping-with-exchange-server
yes i saw it, seems that with exchange is not possible. However at the end, popping email is good enough for us :)
Honestly we have a couple Linux servers here, and I've been thinking about setting up mail on one of them so that I can use Exchanges CC feature to send it to a box there so that I can setup piping from it to osTicket. But it seems like a lot of work (and making things un-necessarily more complicated) when IMAP run every couple minutes seems to work just fine.
