@ntozier You've seen the comment that it's happening on Windows. But as I wrote, the system that doesn't send the email on new submit, does send email when it's updated, closed, etc. No email client involved, just the website. The same LAMP stack is used for everything: new submit, updates, close ticket. You can't claim it's Apache misbehaving on sending email for new submit, while Apache works fine on sending other emails using osTicket (updates to the ticket for example).I'm not trying to be rude, but the stack doesn't change because osTicket is sending an email on new submit vs. updating an existing ticket. The same LAMP stack is used for all of it. The only thing changing is the php code running against the stack, code written by osTicket. Nothing has changed on my server except osTicket was upgraded.I haven't had a chance to look at it too close, but if an answer doesn't arrive before I get back to work next week (yes - long weekend), I'll start tinkering with the code. Can't break it if it's already broke.I'll provide what I have running since I didn't do that earlier:CentOS 6.5MySQL 5.1.73Apache 2.2.15PHP 5.3.3 (with ioncube loader)
