I have been using OS Ticket for quite a while with no problems, however recently we have been noticing a dramatic slow down in creating tickets. it is only on that part that it slows down.

I have checked the database for issues with the tables etc. Server is running normally etc, I just dont know why it has suddenly starting playing up.

Have you visited your emails page and tried re-saving your email accounts you're using SMTP for? If the system is unable to connect to the SMTP server when the ticket is created, it might create a significant slow down
