Has anyone gotten O365 to work with IMAP/POP? I could use some insight. I'm getting the following error after about 1-3 minutes when I attempt to enable the POP function of my O365 email that's setup in osticket:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
It's a shared linux cpanel host. Here is the pertinent info:
osTicket Version
v1.8.0-rc2-6-gf74c61e
Server Software
Apache
PHP Version
5.3.27
MySQL Version
5.5.32
All PHP extentions are marked "on". Here as well.
There is nothing in the meager cpanel log, nor in osticket log. Apparently I have no access to any other logs, per my host.
SMTP function enables without an issue. Only when I attempt to enable POP/IMAP does this occur. I've tested another domain hosted at rackspace and works without a hitch. So it seems to be O365 not playing nice with my server settings or osticket in general. Just trying to figure out which.
These are my email settings:
Host
outlook.office365.com
Port
995
Protocol
POP
Encryption
SSL
SMTP Host
smtp.office365.com
SMTP Port
587
Does anyone have an idea on how to interpret the little bit of error information I've gleamed? Maybe point me in the right direction? :) I'd really like to use my O365 domain. >.
Great product by the way. Has made my job a lot less stressful.
