We are IT support and have to log time, and dats of each part of the ticket, as they may have many parts. Then i need it total up the amount of time for that ticket and it should have an option to appear on the clients logon if i want it to or not.

I know there is a time mod which allows you to put 1.25 hours or whatever in but it doesn't say when you did those hours work, and i need to recall when i did a particular bit of work on the ticket for reasons if the client asks for report or proof of my charges....

It would be nice also at the end of each month to be able to run a report and get the total of hours for each client.

Can anyone help with this ? There will be many people who need detailed logging.

Given the current setup of OSTicket and the fact that there is one ticket per requests and OS ticket doesn't support ticket linking how would you identify what part of the ticket your working on to link time spent? Tracking the start and end time and date is the easy part...
