devmansur What do you think.. obviously not.

jairo

Hello everybody
Will version 2 include a migrator from version 1.x ?
Thanks

KevinTheJedi

jairo

We’ve touched on this multiple times in various places, but yes. You can upgrade all the way from 1.6 as usual.

Cheers.

theZeak

Will 2.0 have support for assets?

KevinTheJedi

theZeak

Yes, it will. The What’s New page very briefly mentions it:

https://next.osticket.com/features

Cheers.

Hi there! Excited for the 2.0 release. I'm currently in the process of creating a POC for a live chat agent for our tier one helpdesk. While perusing other forum threads, I see that OSticket was mentioned to have a solution for live chat coming with 2.0 - is this still the case or did it get dropped? I don't recall seeing it in the features section, but I could have missed it

We have plans for this so stay tuned.

Cheers.

I know everybody is clamoring for release dates - but are we still expecting this by end of month?

eclipse

I check the forum almost every day and can't wait for the release 😃

mauricio_casta

Imagine my surprise after thinking "I wonder what is up with the next osTicket release..." and come to find a fully fleshed out, informative, exciting site full of all the details!

This is great news! Thank you all so much. I cannot wait to get testing the beta!

ednguyen

just a few more days until we enter Q4 2026.

sina

1 more day until end of Q3.

Samuel222

Maybe it will be end of Q3...maybe... 🙂

mauricio_casta

Samuel222 Posiblemente pero hay que recordar que según el horario de Suva ya es 30 de septiembre, pero tambien esta el horario de Rawaki aun falta mucho, nunca especificaron en Q3 de acuerdo que zona horaria jajaja...

Translated:
Possibly but you have to remember that according to the Suva schedule it is already September 30, but there is also Rawaki's schedule still missing a long way, they never specified in Q3 according to which time zone hahaha...

OWCOL

*kicks feet

Can’t wait!

ednguyen

I think they’ll release their announcement about what to expect sometime today, on the last day of Q3. Let’s get ready to experience the Beta product! 🙂

sina

RIP Q3. Why do companies put out deadlines they already know they won’t hit?
