I don’t know, but loosing trust. OsTicket without any upgrade started to show error when trying to add comment on ticket. I was trying to wait for version 2.0 which was planed on 2Q. Now we are getting information, that it will be not released. I will look for another tool to handle ticket… 🤷

I have no earthly idea on where you got information it will not be released.. it is still in heavy active development. We simply delayed one more quarter to focus on strengthening core functionality and architecture so it will be stable and solid for years to come.

Hello Everyone,

Quick update on osTicket 2.0.

We know many of you have been asking when you’ll be able to get your hands on the Beta / Release Candidate, and we truly appreciate the continued interest and patience.

While we originally planned to make the Beta / RC available in Q2, we’ve decided to take a little more time to finish important core architectural work, improve stability, and make sure osTicket 2.0 has the strongest foundation possible.

We’re now aiming to make the osTicket 2.0 Beta / Release Candidate available toward the end of Q3. Assuming the Beta goes well and community feedback does not uncover any major issues, we’re targeting the official stable release for Q4.

The Beta will give the community an opportunity to explore the new platform, test it in real-world environments, evaluate the updated architecture and capabilities, and share feedback before the stable release.

Please Note:
We’ve also updated the Subscription Center to give everyone more control over the types of osTicket 2.0 updates they receive. You can now choose Product Releases for Beta / RC and official release announcements, or Technical Deep Dives if you’d like more behind-the-scenes updates on architecture, implementation, and development progress.

That doesn't really warrant a response (at all) but I will cave in to the rage bait this one time and post anyways.

When I said "heavy development" I meant in the sense of that's where all of our developers' focuses are. It's all hands on deck 100% of the time. So that in my mind is heavy development. Maybe it means something else in your world but this is what it means to me.

If you direct your eyes to my last post (right above yours) it explains that it was 100% planned for Q2. We performed a full review of the current state and we decided to invest a little more time and focus into the core architecture, features, and stability before releasing.

That said, I think you should get a job on a farm or something. Deer and cows love salty things (it's called a "salt lick")!! 🐮🦌

They are developers, they can release it when they like. Would you prefer to have a product that isn't polished off and are you going to pay for more developers ? Grow up.

I'm amazed by what I've seen in the introduction video and are more than happy to get hands on the new solution, when it's finally released.
