I'm using osTicket v1.18.2 hosted on an Aruba Linux shared server. I'm struggling to get auto-cron working properly for email fetching and ticket updates.
I've already tried the standard approach using:
"https://www.mydomain.it/ticket/api/tasks/cron"
But it doesn’t seem to fetch emails automatically unless I manually visit a page as a logged-in agent. On Aruba's shared hosting, I cannot use the cron.php file via CLI, and I'm limited to HTTP-based cron jobs.
I've tested with their scheduled task tool and also considered EasyCron, but the issue persists — emails are only retrieved when an agent logs in.
📌 Is anyone experienced with Aruba hosting and osTicket auto-cron who can assist, even with paid support?
I'm looking for a reliable and permanent solution.
