The application stopped connecting to the email server

Hello
I have OSTicket installed in the version shown in the following image.It was being used without any issues, opening tickets directly from the received email.

For some reason I can't identify, the application stopped connecting to the email server, giving errors:

Unable to send email via Sendmail. Unable to send mail: Unknown error.
Registration Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 4:55 PM. IP Address: 179.60.208.222
As of today, it is no longer processing.

Incapaz de enviar email por SMTP: poa-tesoreria@clubpoa.com.ar (ssl://c2741380.ferozo.com:465/SMTP) cannot connect to host; error = stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to ssl://c2741380.ferozo.com:465 (Unknown error) (errno = 0 )

The mail server is installed on the same hosting, receiving and sending messages normally.
OSTickets performs the rest of its functions without any issues (manual ticket opening and other search functions for already opened messages).
Can you give me any idea where the problem might be?

The errors aren’t really clear. Cannot connect is pretty obvious but it doesn’t elaborate on the why. You need to look at other logs on the server to see. When in doubt you can always contact your server admin and/or hosting provider.
