Agents can log in Chrome/Edge, users cannot (Firefox Only)

Hello,
Running Version 1.17.5 on Ubuntu 22.04LTS, Apache prefork

Recently, I have a some users that cannot log in to view/update their tickets. I have tested their credentials on 3 different PCs in Chrom/Edge/Brave and in incognito mode in all those browsers as well. The login screen just flashes and nothing happens. The logs show the user was "logged in successfully".

Tried it on Firefox, and the user can log in no issues.

Starting going through forums, at one point there was a fix to remove some old http:Response code, but that was already removed in 1.17.5

Other solution was to change apache from prefork to fast_cgi, trying to avoid this if there is another possible solution.

Well, for starters you should upgrade to the latest (v1.17.6 or preferably v1.18.2) and retest. If it's some users and not all it's likely a session issue or something else. Check all possible logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors.

I have held off on upgrading because both times (1.17.6 or 1.18.2), it broke all the views(open, answered, assigned to me, etc) for agents, where no tickets would be listed (empty view)

Well you need to be using the latest as there may have been a bug that has already been addressed, etc. So to avoid running in circles and chasing a lead that's already been addressed you should always test on the latest version with all the latest prerequisites.
