New install - Odd UI bugs?

First time osticket user.
I installed osTicket v1.18.2 on Ubuntu 22.04.1 (AWS EC2 instance w/MySQL v8.0.40).

I was following this guide and the install seemed to go smoothly - https://try.direct/blog/how-to-install-osticket-with-nginx-on-ubuntu-24-04

But I notice some initial odd problems..

when i mouse over the question mark icons which should show help, I get empty bubbles everywhere (see screenshot)

under settings -> tickets if i change the "default ticket number sequence" to "General Tickets", the UI displays a bunch of HTML under the field above (see screenshot).

Also if I click into settings -> tickets and try to click the config button (see screenshots) I get a popup that i cannot interact with showing what looks like the customer login UI..

I am not seeing any errors in php or nginx logs..

Any idea what's going on here or what I might've done wrong?

gwichman Good day I had the same problem in this case I used this configuration file to be able to publish it from nginx https://forum.osticket.com/d/105624-error-al-intentar-adjuntar-archivo/5 and it is how I am currently using it

Ah, you are using NGINX which is not fully supported out-of-the-box. You have to do additional manual configuration at the web server level. You can either search online and this forum for the correct site config to use -or- switch to a fully supported out-of-the-box web server (Apache, IIS, LiteSpeed).
