osTicket 1.18.2 missing attachements

Adding attachments when responding to a ticket does not work correctly.

information:

added two answers with attachment:

added file:

file entry was created in the database under id 376 (Table: ost_file):

exists physically on disk:

however, no entry was added to the attachment table (Table: ost_attachment):

what's interesting "drag and drop" always works, problems are with "choose them"

Check the permissions/ownership of the files and folders on the filesystem. Could be that the server user doesn't have enough access. Also, since you are using a windows server you may want to check the open.basedir INI directive. You may need to add your system temp directory there or create your own temp directory with appropriate permissions and update your PHP INI to use this new temp directory as main temp.
