Upgrading from v1.9.11 (c1b5a33) to v1.18.2

Hello, I took over the system administrator duties from an old dude that retired. I am looking into the osTicket that he set up in 2015, and never upgraded. Can I upgrade from 1.9.11 to 1.18.2 or do I need to break it up in smaller bites before getting to 1.18.2? It looks like he didn't have any customizations, just installed as-is back in 2015.

You can upgrade all the way in one go. Just make sure you make full backups of everything before proceeding. Then you will turn the help desk offline and disable email fetching so that data is not lost during upgrade. Then you must upgrade the prerequisites like PHP, etc. Then you replace the codebase, replace any installed plugins, login, and run the upgrader.
