I have a local instance of osTicket 1.18.2 (installed on xampp 3.3.0). It works perfectly!
Now what I need is to send a volume of about 10-15 emails per week (not more) from osTicket by means of my gmail account xxxx.xxxx@gmail.com. At the moment I am not interested in fetching emails via POP or IMAP protocols.
As you may probably know from last january 2025 gmail does not allows anymore the setting of a "password for less secure apps" and on my account I am only allowed to set a 2 factors authentication using smartphone or hardware tokens, nothing more.
Said so, the question is: before to start the agony of finding and setting any possible SMTP parameter in osTicket and/or php.ini, is there any remote possibility to end with what I need or most probably the final result will be a new installation of osTicket using an hosting service anywhere in the web?
Your opinion will be really appreciated as well as a possible guideline or procedure eventually existing in this respect.
