Hi Everyone,

I am using osTicket v1.18.x deployed on Windows Server 2019.
I have a long list of HelpTopics (more than 20 as of this time) and I wanted to find out if there is a way for me to modify the HelpTopic pulldown menu and use a suggestive search based on the text the user types in the field that matches the helptopics that contain the keyword.

Thank you,
Knychtell

No way to accomplish this without modifying the codebase. When modifying the codebase you are always on your own as you are deviating from core. The code is open source and publicly available on GitHub which has a search tool, a code tree, and even code references. You will proceed at your own risk. Good luck!

I will say that someone did this before with our canned response feature. Find that pull and mimic what they did but for the help topic field. The rest is up to you.

    Cheers.
