Missing subject line for some email submissions

Hello, I have a problem with registering applications sent by e-mail. some of the messages sent by e-mail are not related to the topic of help. under the feed, the part of the header where the topic is correct and where there is no help topic

Subiect is added:

The screenshot is from the header analyzer page, as I noticed, the Polish characters in the second entry are incorrectly decoded.

Did you modify the codebase? Those screenshots don’t look normal.

in scp I only modified css and removed the active status link.

Then you need to retest using no modifications and seeing if you can replicate the issue.

Today we got another ticket from a recipient who creates tickets without a subject.
After checking it, it is clear that this is a problem with the email presser or subject coding.
Below is a picture of the table and the appearance of the ticket.
After editing the ticket and adding a subject, everything is displayed correctly.

Okay, yea, definitely encoding/decoding issue. One of those characters are not UTF-8 compatible. This will require further testing, etc. I will add this to my list of things to look into at some point.

It turns out that the example you provided is malformed UTF-8. So it fails the preg_replace stuff and ultimately gets set to NULL. What does the raw subject look like when it's rendered in say your mail client?
