Home screen and Sign in screencustomization

Hello,
I am trying to customize both the landing screen and the sign in screen. Is there anyway to fill the white behind so it looks nicer?

Not without modifying the codebase. In core the only things you can do here are change the logo and change the landing page text. The upcoming v2.0 is a full codebase rewrite and a complete UI/UX overhaul which will allow for much more customization to fit people’s needs better. It will also be fully responsive and take up the entire real estate gracefully.

We do not but hope to have a preview/RC next year. A preview/RC was supposed to be this year but we needed to get some more core things done beforehand. You can always follow the Roadmap here; however we admittedly don't update it much right now whilst deep in development. Once we slow down and have the majority of core done we will start updating it more often, etc.
