I am not talking about logs; I am talking about actually debugging. Like adding debug statements to the code at various points to see where it’s failing. Do you have a firewall, antivirus, browser extensions, etc.? Can you access the site from home on a home computer to see if issue persists there?

KevinTheJedi no i cannot access it outside network, it is only accessible inside local network, how ever it is not working on any computer not localhost. If you have any suggestion where to add debug prints i can do it right away 🙂 just send me a file and line and what to add 🙂

You would simply need to follow the file retrieval pipeline. Starts with file.php and goes from there. For example since you are talking about inline images it would be going to the display() function of AttachmentFile class. There I would debug to see if gd extension is loaded to see if it goes through the if() statement. If not then it will immediately go to the sendData() function. This will call open() to get the instance and then call passthru() from the plugin.

It would be output in the HTTP response. I would personally use error_log() instead so that you can simply tail the error logs whilst making the requests.

Okay, so it's hitting sendData() so then check passthru() which will be at the plugin level. For this you will need to unpack the plugin so you can modify the core files. This means you will also need to go to the database, go to the _plugin table, find the record for the FS plugin, set the install_path to include/storage-fs (just remove the .phar from the existing value), and set isphar to 0. At that point you can go modify the core plugin files and add your debug to the passthru() function within the plugin.

KevinTheJedi As you suggested i get step by step from file.php to class.file.php and disabled all cashing all the way so everything is called each time last error messages are from class.file.php from sendData() function

any idea how to verify this function is working correctly since it is not going to 404 part but neither return the file correctly

No, so that means it should be sending the data to the browser as it should. Maybe the browser, network, firewall, etc. could be in the way?

I would also try completely clearing all cache, cookies, and sessions for the site and hard reloading the browser.
