As stated in the previous thread you are always on your own when modifying the codebase as you are deviating from core. You will proceed at your own risk.

KevinTheJedi Thank you for the reply. I am only asking to gain better understanding also on how the selection happens for the dropdown. Basically i can see the ticket.view.tmpl. but when it gets to the option render options i get lost because its leads to class.forms.php and then i get lost.
