Office 365 Outgoing SMTP Error

I am trying to configure Outgoing emails with our osticket deployment v1.18.1 (0375576) — Up to date

i followed the oauth2 guide and i am able to receive emails

The error is pretty clear. Authenticated SMTP is disabled for the user and/or tenant. Reach out to your email admin for further assistance in enabling Authenticated SMTP.

So its my tenant, i have Authenticated SMTP Enabled for the mailbox which is why im scratching my head

Maybe the user has a security policy attached that doesn’t allow it? I would go to the link in the error to see more information. I would also check the logs on the microsoft side to see why SMTP is being denied for that account; that error is coming from microsoft specifically. Did you add the SMTP API Permission in the App Registration and provide Admin Consent?
